folders) and MUCH MUCH MORE! Prerequisite: No experience is necessary. This is a beginning level class. |

| Build It Faster, More Powerful, Cheaper! Learn to build computers for personal use or profit. Learn about computer hardware while building your own computer in class! We'll teach you how to choose components to build a fast, efficient computer; how and where to purchase parts; and step-by-step how to build and test your computer. Includes installing Windows, hardware drivers, and your software. With instructor help and guidance, each student will build their own computer during class. Tuition does not include the price of computer parts. Computer parts usually cost approx. $400-$800 depending on individual choices and where the student purchases parts. Prerequisite: Must have good basic Windows skills, including navigating, using the mouse, installing software, and file management. This is not an entry-level class for beginners. |

All cameras welcome! Whether you have a point & shoot or digital SLR, get the most out of your camera. Includes interpreting your camera's manual, using your camera's
features and settings such as optical zoom and digital zoom, image resolution &
quality, ISO, white balance, shutter speed, aperture settings, depth of field, exposure metering, flash techniques, shooting with a timer, previewing,
and deleting. After learning to download images to the computer, then master
the art of printing and sharing images by emailing and/or uploading to free
online photo galleries. Some basic Photoshop techniques covered. An additional
fee required for a field trip to apply
techniques in the field. Course tuition includes a multi-format digital
media reader. Prerequisite: Must have good basic Windows skills, including navigating and using the mouse. Must have and bring your own digital camera to class every week This is not an entry-level class. |
