| Most of our classes require the use of textbooks, while others require consumable supplies to be used by the student. The cost of books and supplies is not included in the tuition. Most textbooks may be purchased on the first day of class, pending availability through publisher and required shipping time. Book prices vary and are available upon request. Books are non-refundable. |
| Requests for refunds received prior to the start of a course will receive
a refund minus 25% of tuition. Registration fees are non-refundable. Students
may receive a credit voucher (tuition minus registration fee) for a future
course if a student drops a class prior to the second class meeting. All
requests for refunds must be made in writing to the Community Education
office. There is no cash refund once a class begins. A full cash refund
will be made by mail (within approximately 3 weeks) only when a course is
discontinued due to lack of enrollment. Proficiency in any class is not
guaranteed at completion. Misprints in textbooks are the responsibility
of the publisher. Please be sure you read and understand this.

| Turn one hour a week into a life-changing experience for an SBISD student.
Volunteer to be a mentor or tutor! We have hundreds of students waiting
for the gift of a mentor - an adult role model, guide and friend - who spends
30-60 minutes weekly visiting with a Spring Branch ISD elementary, middle
or high school student. Our SpringBoard mentor program has won local, state,
and national awards and is operating on more than a dozen campuses! Tutors
are also needed across SBISD to support students' academic growth and achievement.
We'll match you with a student who can benefit from the skills you wish
to share - whether it's reading, math, or science. We need your help! Help
us jumpstart the lives of our SBISD students in need.
