Unless otherwise instructed in course schedules or by our office staff, SBISD Community Education offers three (3) ways to register for classes: In Person, By Mail, and Online.

Before May 23, 2008, make sure you read and understand everything on this page. Then, click on the link at the bottom of this page to obtain the registration form. Print, complete and mail the registration form to:

• Enclose a check for the full amount of the course plus registration fees. Make checks payable to SBISD.
• Include a stamped, self-addressed envelope for a receipt.

Registration Days and Times:

• May 27-29 * 9:00am - 5:00pm
• May 31 * 9:00am - 1:00pm
• June 3-4 * 9:00am - 6:00pm
• June 5 * 9:00am - 7:00pm

Registration Fees - All fees must be paid at the time of registration.

• A nonrefundable registration fee of $15.00 will be charged each Spring Branch resident. Individuals living in the 77024, 77043, 77055, 77077, 77079, & 77080 zip codes are consider Spring Branch Residents.
• A nonrefundable registration fee of $20.00 will be charged each out-of-district registrant. An out-of-district registrant is any individual not living within the 6 zip codes listed above.
• "Star Card" discount honored only at time of walk-in registration.
• All SBISD voluteers will receive a registration fee waiver on Community Education classes

Refund Policy


Requests for refunds received prior to the start of a course will receive a refund minus 25% of tuition. Registration fees are non-refundable. Students may receive a credit voucher (tuition minus registration fee) for a future course if a student drops a class prior to the second class meeting. All requests for refunds must be made in writing to the Community Education office. There is no cash refund once a class begins. A full cash refund will be made by mail (within approximately 3 weeks) only when a course is discontinued due to lack of enrollment. Proficiency in any class is not guaranteed at completion. Misprints in textbooks are the responsibility of the publisher. Please be sure you read and understand this.
